Training

  • Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm. Venues and start times are subject to change throughout the year, so all members are advised to check this website or our club Facebook page regularly for updates.

  • Anyone interested in joining the club is able to try out training sessions for a two-week trial period. If you would like to continue training with us after this trial period, you are asked to register as a member.
  • Aside from a 2 week trial, sessions are restricted to paid-up club members. Our annual membership fee for the rest of 2020 is set at £10 and covers the period from now until March 2021. In a “normal” year, membership would be £50.

  • If you cannot run 5km, we would encourage you to try JogBelfast first.

  • Unfortunately, Belfast Running Club does not cater for track and field athletics events, or for junior athletes. The club does not provide water or hold keys, so wear suitable training gear with pockets.

PLEASE NOTE: We ask everyone to arrive at training sessions at least 5 minutes before the set-off time to facilitate session registrations (roll call), which is a required process for all Athletics NI sports clubs.  We appreciate your patience with this 🙂

Social Runs – non coach-led

We are currently unable to provide social runs due to COVID-19 and do not have a return date.
