Training

  • Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm. Venues and start times are subject to change throughout the year, so all members are advised to check this website or our club Facebook page regularly for updates.

  • Anyone interested in joining the club is able to try out training sessions for a two-week trial period. If you would like to continue training with us after this trial period, you are asked to register as a member.
  • Aside from a 2 week trial, sessions are restricted to paid-up club members. Our annual membership fee for 2021 is set at £20 and covers the period from now until March 2022. In “normal” years pre-covid, membership would be £50.

  • If you cannot run 5km, we would encourage you to try JogBelfast first.

  • Unfortunately, Belfast Running Club does not cater for track and field athletics events, or for junior athletes. The club does not provide water or hold keys, so wear suitable training gear with pockets.
