Next event in the clubs race series in 2026 was the Belfast Half Marathon, with several club members taking on the challenge, the race was a nice sunny day though was a bit chilly at the start before 9am. There were plenty of people at the start and great to see all the different clubs and members there, the start was crowded but started on time and as usual took a while to get up to the start, though was nightmare for anyone needing to use the facilities… There were loads of spectators on the road at Ormeau and up the ravenhill road which was great to see..
Participants from the club are the following and thank you to all the club members who were out cheering on club members and for taking the photos below. Special thank you to all those who stuck around to the end and meet members at the finish line. Note some finishers very much enjoyed the burger and hot dogs and chips 😆 afterwards..
Well done to everyone who took part in the Belfast City Half Marathon 2026
