When is a niggle an injury? Runner and physiotherapist Debbie Matchett will be taking all your questions. Bring your foam roller to be shown how to roll correctly.

Debbie Matchett, owner of PhysioWorksNI is a member of Ballydrain Harriers.
In her own words: “My running history… I started running in my late 30’s My running career started at Northdown running club and then when I moved to Comber I joined Ballydrain Harriers. I’ve always had a running coach – initially I was coached by Norman Bissett and I am now with a coach from England called Matt Long who I met online during Covid. I have mainly competed in xc, 5k and 10k and I am now looking at 1/2 marathons and would love to do the super half’s”

“My achievements to date are – Competing for Northern Ireland in xc in my age group since the age of 40 and winning team medals in this through the years. Team silver medal for GB AND NI for 5k F55 road race in the European masters in Grosetto 2022 Silver team medal for GB AND NI in the world masters in Gothenburg 2024 F55 xc over 8k.”
